Your just a little ahead of me - I had LBL/Hernia repair and arm lift Nov 5 so I'm just ending my 2nd week. Right now I'm feeling so much better, almost normal - I'm walking faster but I can only do about a half mile walk before I have to quit due to that swelling that just sets right in and is so uncomfortable. I can't even imagine working and walking 2-3 miles yet - sounds like you're pushing too fast and that's your body's way of complaining - it needs time to heal.
As for eating a few more calories - that's actually part of my healing plan - the body needs increased nutrients and calories for healing - as long as you're making healthy choices in your food, then you're fine and you don't have to worry. How is your sodium intake? I'm extremely careful to keep my sodium extremely low because that impacts on how much I swell - that is the one thing I can easily control. I am also swelling with increased activity - unfortunately I can't do much about that except to try to find the balance between some increase but not too much - that's the tricky part that I guess one has to figure out for oneself.
I'm sorry your feeling a little depressed because I think you're doing amazingly well.

I don't want to discourage you, but I am 7+ months post op TT, breast lift, etc. and I still don't feel normal. I swell on a daily basis, can't sleep on my stomach, still have numb/sore patches and more. My scar looks terrible & itches like crazy, although the doctor is giving me steroid injections to help with that and may eventually take a laser to it.
Yes, my abdomen is flat and my breast look great....but I wish I'd known when I signed on for this that it would be this way.

Well, that is good to know so that I can try and mentally prepare myself in case this happens to me. I am thankful that I can sleep onmy stomach for at least a couple of hours before waking up uncomfortable. I have numbness too but that doesn't bother me so bad right now. The itching is getting on my nerves but my dermabond and scabs are finally coming off. Hopefully in another week it will be all gone. I think the swelling is the worst part to me and really hope I don't have it at 7 months. I feel for you and hope it resolves soon.

I'm also 7 months out and have a little bit of swelling every day by the evening, it's gone again in the morning. The scale reflects the swelling by adding 2-3 pounds when it's at it's worst.
I have spots that have numbness, especially when the swelling is up, and I still get the itching that I can't scratch. I'll get an occasional sting of pain, usually in my butt where they did the autoaugmentation.
I've come to accept that these are part of the cost of PS and I'm getting used to the new feeling. LOL I do find myself "feeling" my hip bones or butt when I'm lying in bed, like I still just can't get used to the tight feeling, I expect the fell the flabby hanging skin and instead I feel tight skin. I do sleep on my tummy without any problem but it took a long time to get used to the feeling of the BA.
I have zero regrets and intend to go on and have a thight lift and maybe a brachio.

I'm like you, I keep expecting to feel that huge belly flap and its gone. So weird but I LOVE IT!!!! This morning I woke up and felt like there was no swelling. Around noon I start getting that tight feeling but I've been sitting at a desk all morning. I did 3.25 miles on the eliptical this morning and felt great. I am also chaulking this up to the price/pain of beauty!! LOL I also think some of my depression was lingering effects of meds and anthestia because over the weekend it resolved and I feel great now.
