Did your PS include hotel and daily post-op house calls?

I've only heard of one PS that has included the hotel fees for two (2) weeks after surgery and he did daily house calls checking on the dressing and pain... etc....  VERY IMPRESSIVE

I also seen pictures before and after pictures of people that were very happy with his work.

This is only one PS.... So... I was wanting to know if you have experienced this as well, if so, who with and where and how much did it cost???  Could you share any before and after pictures with me?

My surgeon, John LoMonaco of Houston, included the two week stay in a hotel (handicapped accessible suite with a lift chair).  It was great to have that included for us. I am delighted with his work, and I have a before and 4 week out pic in my profile if you want to see. Just send me a friend request and the password is LoMonaco.

ETA: We were four hours away from my surgeon, so it was a necessity we stay there-

Thanks for the info- I'm planning for my round 2 (arms) so that is good to know-

I'll be doing my arms as well, hopefully in the spring.  Who knows Shelly, maybe you'll be "grandfathered" in on the hotel coverage.  Either way, you and I know he's well worth the money.

Laura, you are so right. I wouldn't consider going to anyone else- I am just glad he's in Texas and I don't have to fly to get to him.

I had a lower body lift with hernia repair and arm lift - I had two days post op recovering in the hospital on a surgical ward where they are used to dealing with patients immediately post op - and then I went home. I was thrilled to get back home and felt that I didn't need any additional time in any facility. I had surgery close to home so I felt very comfortable with this plan.

However, if you are travelling for plastics, I can see where this is a excellent choice.

I had a tummy tuck, breast lift with augmentation and was sent home the day of surgery.  My Dr. did not do house calls but he did call on the phone that night and check.  Then we kept in touch until the follow up appts.  I didn't have to travel per se, but I do live further out from town so I have a 45 minute drive to his office/hospital.
