Surgery Update

Hi Familia,

I had my surgery yesterday.  In fact the OR nurse called me to go in early because someone canceled. I believe they took me in at 11 and I was out at 3 or 330pm.  Got home about 7pm.

All went well, my doctor took a few pictures for me. 

So according to her this is what was removed:

 

Right breast- 931 grams removed = 2 lbs. .084 oz Left breast- 1197 grams removed = 2 lbs. 10.22 oz Total combined grams removed=4 lbs. 11.06 oz

Wow!!!  Well my pain meds are kicking in, better go lay down.  Thanks for your prayers and encouragement.  If you want to see pictures, provide me an email address through a pm here on OH.

Wow, Nina, that's a lot of weight off your chest - literally. I bet you're going to feel so much lighter and better after everything heals.
