Tummy Tuck and Skin removal

Does anyone know what the guidlines are for insurance to cover this procedure.  I have consult on Monday.  I have Oxford freedom in NY anyone have exp. they can share.  Also if you had both how happy are you the way it came out ?  I also wanted to know I have about 25lbs more to lose to be at my dream weight lol!! Should I do that first and then have the procedure.  I can't afford to do both but with insurance that can cover the skin removal I can swing a TT.  If I knew there was and exercise that would work I would do so it;s the wrinkled skin and fold over my belly button GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and my pouch of course I just thought ny skin would bounce back guess not lol!!

Hi, I have Oxford freedom of NY and they paid $10500 for my exteanded TT, my doctor charge is $12500.
All my hospital stay was covered, 3 nights.
I got denied 2 times and only got approval after external appeal.
I saw chiropractor for 2 month for back and neck pain.
I also had 30-40 lb to loose but decided to go ahead with TT and I am very happy.
PS removed 13lb of skin and fat and I lost 7 more lb, total 20.

If I can ask you who did you procedure.  was it super painful I had my knee and femur left open for an infection but it was very numb lol!!  I'm pretty tough I want to have it done but I am afraid plus I don't have the best record with Staph infections.  How long were you out of work for thanks.

Dr Mark Schwartz on Park Ave. I had my surgery in Cornell hospital, stayed 3 nights.
It was painfull , can not lie.
But i took percoset every 4 hours and it was ok.
I was out of work 3 weeks but needed more, did not have more time.
It was tough to go back to work, I was very tight to move but it is passed, I survived.
I had 2 drains, 1 was removed at 10 days and 2 at 3 weeks.
I still have some liquid build up and go to my doctor every week to asperate it.
I am very juicy, LOL.
I want to tell you that TT is very painfull, but I forgot all pain already and thinking abot brest lift now.

Thanks ouch with the boobs I had a lump removed and I couldn't get over how much it hurt. My band surgery was nothing I stop taking pain meds as soon as i work up from surgery. Now my knee well I was on the drip and I can't say me did not like loL!!!  All the pain is worth it to be happy it's hard when your not happy with what you see .  Thanks for the info I have an appointment Monday ttyl.

Just a little input. Ask the Dr about the on Q painpump, it goes home with u. Mine was attached to my leg and I had a full lowerbody lift and I have not had one ounce of pain
