MVP... What are the chances they will cover a TT

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with MVP High Deductible covering a TT? I have BC/BS federal employee plan but after my plastics consult found out that they will NOT "predetermine", therefore I would need to lay out the money first and then the surgeon would submit to the insurance..I would then have to keep my fingers crossed that they would deem medically necessary and reimburse. I have the option at this time to change insurance companies and was wondering how great - or not so great MVP-HD is. I do have rashes where the skin hangs and the plastic surgeon took pictures and was willing to write my insurance company. That is on hold now as I try to figure out which insurance would be a better. Any advise would be gratefully appreciated!!
Thanks!

I worked with similiar plans in the past and found that if the patient or I were waiting and hoping for them to determine in our favor AFTER the fact, there were a lot of tears being shed by us, not them.

Imagine paying (or not) for your haircut or dinner afterwards, based on someone else's opinion on whether or not it was worthwhile ?

Thank you so much Dr.L.  I have opted to switch to MVP-HD which Does predetermine... This way I know upfront what will be covered and what wont be covered!
