Help for the Face!!

I am 51 years old and have been overweight most of my adult life. Now I am 16 pounds from my goal weight and I am showing signs of aging. Not that I am avoiding middle age, but I feel like I have been severely slighted. Hoping you guys can give me suggestions of surgery that will help erase some of the signs of aging. Of course I don't want to look like Joan Rivers, but I would like to get rid of my jowls, and under eye wrinkles and help my neck area. I would be happy to just have 10 years back. I am not rich and I know what I am asking for is extremely expensive. Any help/advice would be appreciated. I honestly don't know where to begin.

You will want to research and look for a board certified plastic surgeon and especially one that is experienced in facelifts with weight loss patients. Make sure to ask him/her to see before & after pictures of their work. You can alos ask to be contacted by other patients and ask them questions and if they are happy with the results.

I wanted the same things addressed that you do. I had a mid-face lift, neck lift and upper and lower blepharoplasty. The skin under my eyes was worse than the skin above. A lot of surgeons will reduce the cost when you have more than one procedure done at a time. I have a few pictures in my profile if you'd like to see.

I'm scheduled for a full facelift a couple days after my LBL, BL, arms... with Dr Sauceda in Monterrey. I'm 58, have the turkey neck going on, a little on the jowls, my under eyes are all puffy and the upper eyelids are drooping, but not enough for Kaiser to fix. Once I started pointing out all the stuff, Dr S said... a full facelift. PM me for the price.

eta - changed puppy to puffy... that's what happens when I've been typing puppy for 3mo...

Chris, I just approved your friend request. Since my neck lift, I have lost another 15 lbs. It has made a slight difference, and I am going back next summer for a small revision. (I carried a lot of my excess weight in my face and neck.) I still look great, but had so much extra skin to begin with, plus losing more weight, I could use just a little more tightening of the neck. Even so, it was the best $6,000 I have ever spent!

(Also, just had breast implants and a crescent lift on the left breast- looks great too. November 30 I am scheduled for an extended tummy tuck. )
