I'm back from LBL umbilical hernia and arm lift
on 11/7/10 4:52 am
I'm thankful that after shedding 185 pounds that he didn't need to do a scar running up my abdomin, he was able to fix everything with the LBL. And My arms are finally normal in size. And I'm glad to have that ugly hernia gone
My marching orders were to get enough fluids in me and not worry about food until that nasea has passed - and then to eat well.

Thank you God! I will always be grateful for the change you have made in me! All glory is Yours!
Hey Girl, I was just coming to PM you and I saw you had posted on the board. You must be in better shape than I was after my LBL cuz I wouldn't be able to sit at a computer to type.
I'm so glad to hear that you aren't in any pain, I wasn't ever in any pain, either, but my doc says there is no need for it. He gave me happy shots after all of my surgeries! ;-)
If you ever have surgery again, tell the anesthesiologist about your nausea and he can put something in your IV to stop it. It makes all of the difference in the world.
Feel better soon, Sweetie.

Yea, I didn't have problems with pain - but the nausea kept coming every time I got up to walk around or drink anything - they were very good about keeping on top of that nausea each and everytime. I think it was related to the morphine I had the first night and part of the first day. Thankfully it seems to have gone away and I'm beginning to eat well which I know is important.
