So, can it all be done at one time? The lower body lift, arms, breast, inner thigh? If not how do Docs usually break it up?  Also, any idea of cost?? Thanks :)

I had all that done and my Dr. definately wouldn't do it at one time. He did the LBL & brachio together (said breast at the time of the LBL was too long). Then I had the BA/BL & MTL done together. The total cost was just over $25,000 I believe (approx $12,000 for the LBL & brachio & $13,000 for the BA/BL & MTL). I did have my insurance pay for the panni portion whi*****luded the hospital stay. Not sure how much the LBL & brachio would have been if it had been self pay w/ the hospital stay since it was never quoted that way & always assumed insurance would cover.

Generally you do not want it all d one at once.  I did what the other poster did (it's in my siggy too and I did mine close together for work reasons).

One, you're under anesthesia for a long time, for each one of my surgeries, 7 hours each.  So do everything at once, you're looking at 14 + hours.  Now, your ps would have to use multiple surgeons because you do not want a PS doing fine intricate work working that long.  Good ps' would won't go beyond a reasonable time.

Now with the lbl and thighs.  When you have the lbl done, that addresses some of the issues with the outer thighs.  So in order to get the inner thighs right you have to let things settle from the lbl first.  Then you do inner things.  Also the positioning - the lbl you'r legs are together then would have to spread for the inner thighs, so the end result is probably not going to be ideal.

That all said... if your ps says to do only one thing at a time, then that's what you go with as that's what he's comfortable with doing.  Once you pick your ps, work with them to get what you want, not demand what you want as they have more experience in plastics than you.

Some people go out of the country and DO get all of that done at once.  I can't imagine doing all of that to your body at one time though.  The lbl along with breast work was more than enough for me to handle at one time.  But I do know some people who have done it all.  A lot of the gals on OH go to Dr. Sauceda in Mexico and I believe the full package is around 15k.

My surgeon says to break it into 2 parts - but will do the arms and BR/BL together in order to reduce a muscle issue I have with the chest wall, because doing only one at a time would lead to further issues.

So I'll have BR/BL, arms, and LBL next month, and then (if I still feel the need), thighs and implants in another 3-4 months.
It will be done by co-surgeons, each with an assistant, and they're estimating 5 hours of surgery to complete for the initial set.

No idea of cost - insurance is (unbelievably!) covering it.

You are so lucky to get the surgery paid for...thats fabulous! I was about the same start weight, height and ending weight as you and I couldn't figure out how to get my insurance to pay for a panni. I'm a self pay at a pretty penny now!

Significant skin issues for the LBL (lots of thickening/scarring and rashes), and a torn/chronically pulled chest wall muscle for the BR/BL and arms.  We still have no idea why the decided to cover the thighs, but I'm thrilled!

I'm heading down to Monterrey and Dr Sauceda in Jan.  I'm planning on all the same.  Dr S uses an epidural, so you can be under longer as it's twilight sedation.  ~15k, covers surgery, hotel, garments, aftercare while in Mexico...  I don't think that I could go back and get any more work done, so will try it all at once.

Thanks guys. I guess all at once is a long time to stay under.
