Hello.
I am having upcoming surgery in Mexico in December. I am looking for high protein shakes which are low in calories, sugar, and carb. I want the powder ones that can be mixed in a shaker with water. Of course taste is important too. I would like each packet to be about 30+ grams of protein. Any recommendations?
Thanks !

From AllStar Health (on line) I got individual packs, various flavors, of Champion Nutrition Pure Whey Protein Snacks.  They all taste great and I've been drinking protein for 3 years.
"The protein in Champion Nutrition Pure Whey Protein is a 'stack' of whey concentrate, whey isolate and whey peptides,"  I usually use Unjury but after 3 years post vsg I don't need alot
of protein; I usually make a 1/2 packet =23 gr protein, 4 carbs, 130 calories, low sugar.
Read more about it and supplement facts on the site below:

Good luck with your upcoming surgery!

You can also buy a box of sample packs of Optimum Nutrition Whey protein from www.bodybuilding.com. I have used them when traveling. They are small, flat packages and pack easily in a suitcase. They are low carb and high protein.

over the weekend I bought a case of Costco brand "premier protein".. they are ready to drink and have 30 grams of protein and 1 gram of sugar.  Cost was $24.00 for 12.  They taste great and are easy to grab and go! I am going to get me some more!

hanks ! I have been buying those premier shakes at Costco for several months now. I love them. The only flavor thats available at my Costco is the chocolate. I love it, but would be interested in finding other flavors in that brand with the same nutritional values.

I may end up taking a case down with me, but I was hoing to find individual packets that I can mix with water or skim milk. It would be much easier to pack the packets in my suitcase.

Thanks again !
