Anyone willing to show pics of Anchor-Cut TT?

Does anyone have any pics of their Anchor-Cut TT they would be willing to share? I have loose skin on my tummy, lower back, and butt. I was hoping that a tt would take care of it all, but I may need a lbl or anchor cut TT. I have my first plastics consult tomorrow, so I will know more about what I really need then. Anyway, I have seen pics of regular tt and lbl, but not of the anchor-cut tt. I would like to see pics that are of newbies and especially of those that are further into the healing process(such as 6mo., 1yr., 2yr. out, etc...). I would love to be able to wear a dress/top that dips low in the back(I think a womens back can very sexy-but not with loose, saggy skin rolls). Anyway, I guess i am worried for some reason about the vertical part of the anchor cut(I can't visualize that vertical scar on my tummy and how it would look once healed). Any one got any pics?
Thanks!

I didn't take any before photos of my back, but I just added pics in my bio of my before and then 24 hour and now 3 week anchor TT progress.  I LOVE my new back...and since I had an open RNY I didn't see any drawback in having the vertical scar.  My new belly button is amazing.  I'm still lumpy and not perfect, but not going to be picky.  I know I will need a little revision for my dog ears (where the drains were) but otherwise everything looks pretty good, even at 3 weeks.

Pic me! Pic Me!!

I only have pics from 3 days out of my profile.  But I'll take a new one tomorrow - I can take the bandaids off tonight - and post it up there too.

I had a bit of back roll, more on my flanks.  I have the SKINNIEST waist now - I Love it!! And my back is SMOOTH!  I had my arms done too - so I just might where one of those sexy backless dresses!  My butt and flanks are better - not perfect, but better, and I avoided the "all the way around "cut.  I doubt I'll do much more with my butt - just start running again.

Honestly - I doubt many post-WLS patients will do well with a regular TT alone - just too much skin.

I have some pics on my profile. I need to post some new ones. The most recent ones are only 6 weeks out. I am 4 months out now. I am having my belly button revised in a couple of weeks--as it healed, it widened.

I wholeheartedly love the anchor cut--so much loose skin on my upper ab area is GONE. That would not have been addressed as cleanly with just a plain TT that pulls down the excess skin.

My skin was so stretched out by my fat, so I have lots of stretch marks, but lots of them were cut off in the vertical area--thank goodness.

The vertical incision is healing so nicely. The horizontal cut is still an angry red, but the vertical cut part is more skin-colored and disappearing nicely. Not likely going to be a bikini-wearer, but that's more my personality talking than any sort of shame about my skin or scars--I don't care about that at all. I was never much of a half-naked-out-in-public kind of person.

I will try and get new pix up ASAP.

Could you please explain the difference in the procedures that you mentioned?  I am sure I will need butt, thighs, back, tummy, arms and breasts (enhancement) done, so any advice would be most appreciated as I am just now looking into plastic surgeons and it seems things have really advanced recently.  Thanks so much!  Charlee

An anchor cut tummy tuck also called a fleur-de-lis, has a horizontal incision normally in the lower abdomen area and a vertical incision intersects with it normally below your belly button. The vertical incision runs up and can go up as high as your breastbone. The horizontal incision can really be extended well into the hip area and is then it's called an extended anchor cut. This type of tummy tuck addresses the loose skin below and above your belly button and really helps to cinch in the loose skin on the sides of your belly as well. It helps a little bit with the outer hip and thigh area but not as much as an LBL.

An LBL is a lower body lift and the horizontal incision going across the abdomen is continued around to your back side. You are cut and lifted a full 360 degrees. This procedure addresses the loose skin on your back side. Some people have an LBL with the anchor cut tummy tuck. It also helps lift more of the skin on the outer thighs.

Redundant skin on the inner thighs is fixed with a medial or inner thigh lift.

Hope this helps!
