Any one needed a revision?
Hi-
I had super abdominoplasty/panni with lateral extension and inner thigh lift on 8/23. Generally, I am very happy with the results. However, I noticed that my right side tummy and hip were puffier than my left side. I kept hoping it was uneven swelling but I finally brought it to my docs attention. He will go in and lipo it so it's even. It will be a much more minor procedure than before (one hour versus five) and he will make two small cuts into the same incision. He said I can have it on a Friday and return to work on Monday. I'm feeling great now and not eager to go back to the binder again.
How common is this? He said it was common when they do a big project. I'd love to hear from others who've needed a touch up.
Thanks,
Beth

I do think it's rather common when you've had a lot of excess skin removed. Don't distress it sounds like the revision is going to be a lot easier than the initial surgery! I hope you are very happy once he does what he needs to do!
12/09 and 6/11, 9 skin removal procedures with Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico
Revised to the Sleeve after losing 271 lbs with the LapBand.
I had an anchor TT, and can tell already (at 3 weeks out) that I have a definite dog ear on my left side. Doc says in my case he can do a revision in the office, with just local anes. and take it right off. He wants to wait about 9 months to do it though. :( Makes sense, they want to let the tissue return to normal before deciding how much to remove.
