Scar treatment

Has anyone used the Clinque even better skin corrector on their scars?  I use it on my face for the last year or so as I am in the sun a lot here in Florida.  Well I just bought a new bottle and decided to try it on my scars.  I am 6 months out and Italian so my scars are a lil darker in the places that hit the sun.  I had used Vitamin E cream (Genes) and mixed it with bio oil to massage in a couple of months.  Not sure if it helped or not.  I may be crazy but the darkness of my scars seems to be lighter already.  Their website says it can be used on acne scars so why not surgical scars??  I hated the silicon sheets I only used them a couple of weeks.  Any one have any thoughts on this???

Are you using a sun screen that is effective for both UVA and UVB rays? The SPF rating only refers to UVB. Many popular sun screen products only contain UVB protection which means you're still being exposed to UVA and that could be affecting your scars. Are you careful to use it liberally over your scars?
