I do think they helped my arms.  I scar really badly, so I was just hoping to get some of the redness to lessen.  My arms are not bad!

I am having the anchor cut abdominoplasty on Novemeber 16th.  How bad was the pain?
I'm scared to death.

The first two or three days are the worst.  You want to just stay as doped up as possible.  After that it's not so bad really.  I was more uncomfortable than in pain, if you know what I mean...I would do it again in a heartbeat.  The tight muscles that prevent you from moving around are just that- TIGHT.  But it doesn't really hurt (unless you pu**** and do something that you shouldn't) it's just stiff and hard to move the way you want to.

I agree.  The first day was EASY - I had enough local that I didn't feel a thing.  The second day I didn't keep on top of my pain meds and WOW - it hurt.  But once I got pain meds back on board - I was fine.  Ever since I've been good.

I was on percocet (oxycodone) and I took it 4x a day on day 2 and 3, 3x a day on day 4, just morning and night day 5 and 6 (with advil in the day) and only advil since (every 4-6 hours).  The pain was VERY manageable on that plan.

And most of the pain was from the tightened muscles, not the incisions.
