I'm REALLY struggling with food now.  Even more enforcing why its a great idea to push as much protein as possible before surgery - to have some to hold you over.  I'm pretty much driking protein shakes all day.  I can't even eat a whole Atkins protein bar now ...last night it took me 3 hours to eat one.  I used to eat that NO PROBLEM, and would have been able to also have a few grapes or something like that with it.

Keep working on it!

It's coming along well - although I haven't gotten a really good look at it yet.  The nurse is coming back tomorrow to take off the dressings and replace them - that will be my good look.  I'll get pictures then.  Right now I'm just AMAZED to see the flatness - and my waist is so defined...

The tummy was MUCH more painful than the arms - that was surprising to me for sure.  With the exception of the limit on lifting - I have full range of movement back already and no pain at all.  My tummy on the other hand...I am not in pain with meds on board...but when I let them run out - HOLY CRAP.  The muscle tightening is the worst part...I surely cannot walk straight.  ESPECIALLY when the meds are near the end of their "life".  Are you the same?

I'm feeling well enough today to start thinking about getting back to business - so I get your desire to get back to normal!

I'm heading to check out your pics now.  I'll post mine tomorrow!

No lipo for me.  Dr. said I didn't need any.  He said it was a little over 4lbs of skin - and he was surprised it was so light - seeing as there was a lot.  But that there was very little fat - so it was pretty "thin" if that makes sense.  And my arms were only 80g off each...but again I saw the big shark bite he marked...lol

8lbs is a lot!  Is the scale reacting?  I'm still up about 10lbs...

I was all dressed etc. - so it wasn't a real measure.  But i was just curious.

Today I'll take a real measure as well at my shower.  I wouldn't doubt i'll be back down a bit- I hit that "pee like crazy" stage last night and this morning - I think some of the surgery fluids are being released!

Your arms look great. The placement of your scar is really well done. It looks like you'll just end up with a flat, thin line. Yay for you!

I thought so too!  Thanks!  I'm so happy with my surgeon!

Did you use the silicone sheets on your scars or just the cream?
