Lost 252 lbs. Have hernia, need tuck and lift. Advice?
Hi I'm a newbie here on the plastics board.
I have a hernia from my "open" long-limb gastric bypass. I've lost 252 lbs. in less than 2 years. I need to have the hernia repaired and the plastics doctor is joining in with my surgeon for repairs.
Has anyone else gone through this who can tell me how it went for them?
I'm going to have a tummy tuck and would love to have a breast lift. The plastic surgeon said I have NO BREAST MASS left, so I would have to have implants for the breast lift. I never considered implants before, but I want my clothes to fit better. I'm 51 years old and hope to have at least 20+ years left to enjoy my new body on this earth.
Has anyone had a hernia repaired with a tummy tuck and breast implants?
I would love to know how you're doing?
(PS: I heard that by repairing the hernia with the tummy tuck really gives you good results for a flat stomach. I've NEVER had a flat stomach, even in high school) Is this true?
I do have a flat stomach, but I have a huge muffin top. I do not know how to get rid of it. It is not fat or loose skin, it is hard as a rock. I also have NO waist - I am straight up and down, which makes it difficult to fit pants.
Good luck!
Lynne
I love love love my implants. I wanted them, then decided no, then saw pictures of just the lift versus the lift and implants, and that was the profile I wanted.
I have nice curves now, I love my waist, hips and thighs.
