If you had Brachio revision, I have a cpl. of questions
If you had probs with your incision partially opening up and had a resultant revision, did you have the same prob again (of incision reopening)? Also, did orig. surgery incl. sutures or glue and did you have drains? Was the revision more "successful"? Did better scars result? Did you do anything different the 2nd time around to help insure less chance of incision opening up?
I'm having a revision on both underarm areas for about a 3" + length. Following orig. surgery, both underarms opened up and took months to heal closed following a "quick" revision/restitching attempt in the Dr's office 6 wks. or so after the original surgery. These immed. opened up much larger and that's what took months to finally close. My Dr. is now planning a "proper" surgical revision w/anesthesia of the same areas since the scarring is very unsightly (very much widened and darker for about 3" in length and spread about 1.5" wide). Orig. surgery was 9 mos. ago.
So, I'm curious if you had a similar outcome: did the revision look much better after healing?
