Had excellent phone consultation with Dr. Quiroz!

I have been corresponding with Cosmed Tijuana in regards to having my plastic surgeries performed there. I have spoken with Joyce, the office manager several times and she is a wonderful, helpful person. On Monday, Dr. Quiroz called me in response to the photos that I had sent. He was caring, knowledgeable and took the time to answer any and all questions I had. The time he spent on the phone with me was impressive. I am thinking of scheduling my surgeries sometime in May.


With that being said, I welcome any and all opinions of past, current or prospective patients and would love to hear some of your experiences.

I am not a patient of his and I have no personal knowledge about his work. I just did a quick Google search and came up with this older thread. It has some happy patients of his and some VERY unhappy ones.

I would do more research on Dr Q.

One place I found helpful was PSjourneys.com, as you can read posts from people who have traveled to all surgeons, AND see work of various surgeons.

Thank you both for your response...I will check out the thread.  It's imperative to be as informed as possible.

He did a very decent job on my extended tummy tuck & hernia repair, although he left in some permanent stitches which still bother me 3 years later. I had that work done in Nov. 2007.

I had my arms and breasts done in April, 2008, and I am very unhappy. The arms look like they were barely done, I have permanent stitches which stick out of them, and the breasts are a bit uneven. All in all I wouldn't return. I also had asked him to fix the area under my arms (the bra overhang fat) but he didn't, telling me he'd do it when I came back for a thigh lift. There's no way I'd go back. I'll stay local or I'll go to Dr. Sauceda. His patients seem much happier.
