3 week out from Abdominalplasity with Lipo one drained removed
Hello All,
Went to 3 week appointment and they removed drain from right hip (It hurt like HELL!!) coming out but the pain did not last long, just shocked me. They way the other drain is doing I am pretty sure they will remove it next Wednesday when I go for my 4 week appointment.
I must say I am having swelling, some days are better than others, but even with the swelling, I can tell the end results will be good. I had a little more pain yesterday on my right sign, but felt very good today. I am doing my protein shakes and high protein diet as well as my supplements, I am working from home right now so I am not getting out much only as needed.
I am feeling Great , I am recovering well as well, my PS saw me Wednesday and said everything was looking great and swelling was to be expected. I am massaging the area as well as have a massage therapist who comes to me twice a week.
Did you guys do anything special for swelling?

As part of the after care instructions my PS suggested a massage therapist, I used the one they referred me to, he massages the whole abdominal area downward, the first week was very tender and of course he didnot do too much pressure, but the reasoning behind it the PS said was to make sure that it is not to hard, and lumpy. They also have a particular way to eat afterwards to get the best results. Thanks for the compliment also!!
