Question re plastic surgery of the upper/inner thighs????
Good morning everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends.
I am embarking on the next phase from weight loss surgery, the plastic surgery phase. I was wondering if anyone on the forum had plastic surgery on their upper thighs...not sure what the technical term is. Right now my inner/upper thighs look like loose ripples of lumpy jello...don't know how else to describe them...they are NOT nice.
Would like to know if anyone had the same result from their weight loss surgery, and have since had plastic surgery and can share if they improved and perhaps share some before and after pictures. Thanks.
Take care...Linda

Thanks Renee for getting back to me about this. I checked your profile and must say you look fantastic....what a wonderful transformation. From looking at your photos, I can imagine how tough it was to recuperate from the thigh surgery. If it's the upper arms, you can control how much you move them around, but the poor thighs get a work out...you have to get around to walk. Pain meds, pain meds for sure. Congratulations on all your successes...absolutely stunning.
Take care. Linda

Thank you very much. I am extremely happy with my results. The thighs were the most challenging procedure for me. I tried all the tricks to help and make it easier on me. I used the toilet seat riser and even peed through a dixie cup to avoid having to sit...LOL Hey, it worked! I slept in a recliner for about 3 weeks to avoid having to stretch my legs so much trying to get in and out of my high bed. I did use my pain meds faithfully and for a longer peroid of time with that procedure. I had my arms done at the same time as my thighs and it was hard! But I made it through and I kept telling myself the pain would be temporary and it was so worth it to me.
Best of luck to you!
Best of luck to you!

Thank you!
It has been almost 1 year since I had my thighs done. I think I was driving after about 3 weeks. I didn't work out hard for several months. I had my arms done at the same time so it was a long recovery. I did start walking around 10 weeks out. I always wore compression. My surgeon has it on you when you wake up from surgery and highly recommends it. As time went on I was able to buy something more comfortable and wore it under my clothing and to bed. I kept some type of compression on for 3 months or so. I had very little swelling, no wound separation. It's a long recovery but hang in there. It is worth it!

Hi there!
I had TT BLA LBL and inner thigh lift. Since I wasn't very happy with the results of LBL (especially because of my outer thighs) the incisions of my inner thigh lift goes from the groin area up to my TT scar and then to the area above the outer thighs. I don't know if I was clear, my English is really poor.... anyway: this is not the easiest surgery, but it certainly made my thighs more acceptable, now I see myself in bikinis, etc.
The only problem is the recovery. I'm 4 weeks out of this surgery and I'm still not very confident to go back to work, drive, etc. All the incision area feels so... fragile. But I'm a little bit dramatic, you know... my ps says it's just an impression and I know he's right. I mean, I don't see myself running in the park yet, but I believe I can walk straight, drive. Besides, I'll start wearing spanx or even a garment to feel more comfortable to work and drive, at least in the first weeks.
In short: this surgery worths the money and the recovery time, as long as you find a nice, experienced, certified doctor, read a lot about it and talk a lot to your ps. I think it is the more delicate surgery of all I faced, but nothing impossible to bear (at least until now I have not had any major problem). I think I'll be posting some pictures in the next days.
