Chicago docs?
Hello
I'm just starting my research phase of plastics. I know for sure I want a tummy tuck but still don't know what options would be best for me. I feel like the most important thing is to find a Dr. that specializes in plastics on people who have had wls. Does anyone know of any chicago doctors that have good reps?
Thanks!!!

Hiya! HeyJules asked me to swing by here and share some info:
I used Michael J. Lee as my plastics guys at Northwestern in Chicago. He is super! he has done quite a few post-bariatric patients.

I had an extended TT (including fleur-de-lis) and a brachioplasty. They worked with my insurance company and me to get the TT completely covered and I self-paid for the arms $4,000.
Check out my pics on my profile. The most recent ones I posted are from 6 weeks out, I think. I need to update those as I am 3 months+ out now. It was practically painless and I like my results. Knowing that they will get even better makes me even happier!
His office is on time (important to me because I have kids and need to squeeze in my appointments here and there) and he is very realistic. I did not want to look like a Barbie doll, just a regular 40-year old woman who had two kids. Two of the other docs I had consults with wanted to do 3 and 4 stages of plastics for me to make me look "perfect." My temperament, pain threshold and finances all had me leaning toward ONE round, so I ruled those docs out.
If you have any questions, please let me know via PM.
