I am three weeks out from tummy tuck and thigh reduction as of tomorrow.  Things have gone fairly well.  I have ended up with an infection on the leg that I have had issue with since day one.  I still have a drain in that leg that is still draining quite a bit so it looks like it will be a while.  I have two small openings that are leaking foul smelling pus and fluid and have been put on antibiotics....NASTY!!!!  I go back to see the Dr. on Wednesday so hope I have more information then.  I have a feeling I got the infection from all the extra fluid in that leg.  When stitching me up the Dr said he nicked a small vein so I bleed a bit more in that leg from the start.  Sometimes that extra fluid can cause infection...we will see!  I have also posted my before pictures.  I have some after pictures but they are on a different camera and I am having issues downloading them.  I will get them posted soon.

I had my thighs done 6/25 and have had a persistent seroma in my left thigh that we had hoped would reabsorb on it's own.  No such luck, it was aspirated twice, and finally on Friday my ps opened it up to get rid of it for good.  I'm packing it and dealing with it.  I'm chalking it up to all part of the process - at least my process anyway.

I hope you and Lisa will be better soon. I'm sure the final results will pay off in the end.
