The sound of silence is beautiful (for ps peeps)

I started doing my running last week without any compression/ Spanx on at all. Since my ps, I've worn some type of compression shorts every time I ran or worked out.

Something was different from the last time I ran w/out compression (pre lbl), but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

Then it hit me. What was missing was the slapping sound of my skin beating against itself while I ran. No skin sounds at all. I LOVE my ps for more reasons than one. Silence really is golden!

Yea!!!!  You know, just now I went to do my weekly check on your before/after pics and it made me do the password again and I forgot it.  :(

Yesterday morning I ran the 5K for Race for the Cure and thought about your post!  I can't wait to run without compression and not hear the clapping.

Whooohooo! Good for you! And, you are going to love it. I revel in it each time I run now- what a great thing it is!

OMG!  I am a runner since I had gastric bypass.  I am having my tummy tuck on November 11, and that is the thing I am looking forward to the most.. no flap when I run... it must have been AWESOME.  do you run better too?

It is wonderful! My time really hasn't changed much, but I feel so much better when I run and I can focus more on running instead of being self conscious.
