i have no rashes or infections so my insurance will not cover any removal. i have been trying to find financing and keep getting these stupid companies that are just credit recovery or credit score places trying to sale me reports and stuff. does anyone know of  were i can try for financing that isn't just a scam?

There is a company called mymedical loan.com. They work with all kinda credit.. They approved me with half down. I have to call them to moorrow to finalize

Do thorough research before going for a loan through mymedicalloan.com - someone else asked about them a little while ago and I did a quick google search.  A lot of negative reviews came up.

Care Credit is usually what's offered through plastic surgeon's offices.  I know that's who my ps suggested until we told them we'd be using home equity LOC.

Also, look at residency programs.  Some women here have had great success with them and will recommend them.

I use CareCredit also...   No problems or issues with it.

Was very easy to setup.
Surgeons:  Dr. Blackstone (Arizona), Dr. Ponce (Georgia)
Pre-op weight close to 500lbs
Surgery weight 471
Current weight 232
My new goal 200 in July 2012 
Experts goal 185 (Probably never).   Already had my Plastic Surgery, it went great.

CARE CREDIT, i have 12 months no interest, no problems got the forms at my PS office
used it twice never a problem and no fee to apply

Borrowing from your 401(K) sounds like a great option, but I hope you did your research.  Just about every financial planner I know advises agsainst it.  Here's a link to an article as to why you shouldn't unless it is your absolute last option:
