3 days~!!
I have my 1st round of plastics on Wednesday the 6th and I'm nervous, I am having a panniculectomy..any last minute advice for preparing for this? I have bought and started the stool softeners like I've heard on here many times, I bought safety pins to pin up my drains, Extra pillows for the bed. Just got to prepare some easy cook meals for the family for the few days following my surgery..Any idea what to wear to the hospital the morning of that would be comfortable to wear for the drive home? ...t anymore advice would be so appreciated.
Docusate Sodium 100 mg, 2 a day, All I've read and was told at my preop is to take them ahead of time, because it takes a few days to start working.
I plan on having the recliner ready and anything I need within reach, Have pillows for the bed when I can go there, meds all filled, think I'm ready but I feel like im missing something. I plan on wearing some sorta trackpants or yoga pants and a zip up hoodie..hopefully that will be ok..

Gett yourself some kind of kitchen timer that has hours, not just minutes. I had one to wake me up during the night to take my pain meds - best thing you can do for yourself so you don't wake up hurting like hell in the morning.
Have a side table to put your drinks, books, remote, etc on so its within easy reach.
Wear baggy sweats that do not have a tight band on the stomach.
Are you getting a panni or a full TT?
