Still pre-op, surgery scheduled for 12/2010.  Just thinking ahead a little bit..... How much does reconstructive surgery run in PA?  I have no clue, at all!  Our insurance will cover it if it's medically necessary, but I was told it won't be pretty.  Not that pretty is everything, but I'm willing to pay out of pocket if the price is right.

Thank you in advance for your help!

it depends on what u have done and how much skin they have to remove & how much recontructive work they have to do and it is cheaper if you get more then 1 procedure done at a time rather then 2 seperate procedures and most times the more proedures u get done by the same Dr. they give you a discount. most PS give free consultations. a complete Abdominoplasty with the muscle tightening can run around 8500. that should include hospital & anesthesia and supplies. give or take a few.

You might want to get more clarification around what they consider medically necessary.  All areas of the body or just the panni?  I've seen some here post that they had arms or thighs covered but those are rare instances.

I was a self pay and everything I had done (which is in my siggy) was about $27K.  I'm in the Cleveland area so the PA area shouldn't be that far off.
