medicaid and panniculectomy

any idea what type of issues besides rashes/ infections could make it "medically neccesary"? how often/ long do these issues need to be documented?

Two problems

1) Medicaid will almost never cover the procedure
2) surgeons will not perform the procedure for medicaid rates

Medicaid really isn't designed for plastics. I agree with Robert Oliver and his response.

They will prefer to treat your rashes.
