DId the lift make a big difference in size too. I am a DD , would like to be just a full C at most so does iifting reduce as well ??
Thanks for any replies that might help ,,Also how hard was the recovery from a lift only

My breast size didn't change a whole lot; I did lose band width (from 36 to 34) but now my sometimes D/sometimes C is firmly (ha ha!) a C.
The "side boob" issue depends on how much you have over there. I had a little and it was taken care of. But if you have a lot it may not. Best thing to do is ask the surgeon.
Recovery is not bad but it is slow. I am 5 months post op and my breast as still super tender; there is no way in HELL I would let my husband touch them. The incisions are also super sensitive (not just my breasts but my TT too). I am a stomach sleeper and I STILL cannot sleep there for more than a few minutes.
Good luck.

Thanks so much for your replies.. I dont have alot of side boobage so I am hoping it wll all be taken care of ,,, I am winding down my remake after the weight loss and will be SOOOOOOOOOO glad to be done ... My Dr does things one at a time and almost will never do two things at once ...HATE THAT but maybe it is the safest way..
I had a breast lift with no augmentation done on Sept 8th. My doc also does abdominal work separate from a lift which made sense as the lift by itself was nearly four hours. My procedure was an extended mastopexy and did address the "side boobage." I'm very pleased with the job, still swollen but looks like he pretty much got rid of the side problems. My incisions extend all the way past below the armpits to the beginning of my back. I don't know for sure what size I will be but I started as a 38C. My breasts are more prominent now because they are up and therefore stick out rather than hanging down. I'm very happy witht the results so far; it's great to have my boobs where the fitting darts are in a blouse instead of five inches below them! Even with the swelling everything fits so much better now. My waist looks slimmer too, since it's not camoflaged with sagging titties. The procedure was a French one that actually creates internal suspenders out of my own tissue. It really is neat, creates my very own internal bra so to speak. I went home same day as surgery. Used Percocet the day of surgery then needed only Tylenol and I've been off of that since Saturday. I'm going back to work tomorrow, so I took 2 weeks off. Everyone is different, so keep that in mind. Good luck!

You need to ask your surgeon because it normally is not included. If you don't have much than he can probably address it but most surgeons I consulted with wanted to do it with the arm lift. My cup size actually got smaller but I look BIGGER because they are lifted and my hanging apron is gone. I've had a couple of people ask me if I had a boob job!
