Hello OH Friends and Losers!

I had my consult with a very highly recommended PS. I know six others who have had their work done by him in the past ten years and they are all extremely satisfied and I have seen his work. These gals are rockin the new bods! However, these girls are not post-wls. 2 of 6 were revisions from mess ups by other doctors but that was the extent of it.

I am having abdomnioplasty/TT (saving my belly button by cutting around it), lipo in hips and inner thighs in round one and a breast lift with augmentation in round two. He would not let me have all of that done in one surgery and he explained a multitude of reasons why. I know many doctors would, but he won't.

Round one: 16K
Round two: 13K

I want to know if any of you out there paid similar prices for the work I am having via two surgeries. If it was significantly lower in cost, how much did you pay (or maybe I don't want to know)!

I really am pleased with my PS. I have never met any doctor who has made me feel more comfortable in a very humbling experience. His office is located in a great part of the City and is beautiful, I knew I would be paying a fortune. lol  I guess I want to feel like what I am paying is not that abnormally high for a San Francisco surgeon with excellent credentials.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance for your comments. I am so excited to be investing in ME.

It sounds kind of high to me. But it might be the going rate for where you live. I would get atleast 3 consults before you decide on your PS. I did and was very comfortable with 2 of the 3 and picked mine based on his bedside manner, recomendations & his staff. He was not the cheapest, nor was he the most expensive. You have to shop around to find the best PS and the best bang for your buck.

I had a TT with lipo and my arms done for 13k and then I had a breast reduction (but ins paid for that one) and I am thinking that was 5k.

Good luck!!

I had an extended TT, gastric bypass scar revision, lipo of flanks and abdomen, and breast lift for just under $15,000. It was done by a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at his free standing surgery center; included one overnight stay at the surgery center, all surgical garments, post op care including free revisions, pre-op vitamin/supplements.....basically, all inclusive. He has tons of experience with WLS patients too which was a plus.

I think your quotes are a little high. And I think there is a reason he does not want to do one surgery ($$$....my personal opinion, since TONS of doctors do everything you are having done in two surgeries in one).

I definitely encourage you to get more than one opinion.

Good luck.

I think for your area it sounds right... I was quoted by two dif surgeons for a TT one was 7k, the other 10k.  Then BL with aug 10 k form the first guy and the second 10 k for just a lift.  I am in the northeast.  Your prices make sense to me for your area.

Hi Meg, I'm in the area too. I haven't found anyone around here that deals in weight loss like Dr.Agha. I just went down to Newport yesterday to see Dr. Agha. I think he is the most amazing PS I've seen. His work is unbelievable and  I haven't found anyone that can sculpt a body like him. His prices are not that bad. For his breast augmentation it's 5K but with all the other fees it comes to 7K.  With this he reconstructs your breast to attach to your muscle for a higher lift, it will also last longer.

Just look at some of his before pictures of weight loss clients.  You will see how great he is, I will be having a lower body lift, which is 4 procedures in 1 and a thigh lift . For all of that it's 24K.  I think  your doctors price is a little high due to what your having done.

I'm so excited about Dr. Agha I think everyone should look at his pictures and compare him to other doctors . He is contently doing alot of revisions from all over. So sorry to go on and on but you want to have the best out come when it comes to your body so make sure you are VERY HAPPY with who you choose. Good luck.
