I had Duodenal Switch surgery 14 months ago and have lost 146 lbs.  I am now starting to look at plastics and have read a lot on this forum already.

I'm thinking of having my arms done as well as a breast reduction and lift at the same time in January when I will be 18 months out.

After that I will be looking at having my tummy and possibly thighs done, probably 9-12 months later.

Thanks to all for being so open in sharing your stories - especially those brave enough to share pics!

Hi Mickie. Have you meet with plastic surgeons yet? You will want their input when deciding what to fix first.

I've just got my date to have an arm lift and LBL with hernia repair in November. I will than have a thigh lift and breast lift in a second operation. I've lost 180 pounds following a healthy diet. I started consulting surgeons in June.

Hi Skylar.....I haven't made appointments yet but will as soon as I get a list of good surgeons in my area.  I'm a Canadian living in Germany and it's a bit more tricky doing research compared to back home.  I would prefer to have it done in Germany, Netherlands or Belgium for geographical reasons but of course the main thing is the skill of the surgeon.

Thanks,
Mickie

Thanks Renee!  It's nice to see a familiar face in this unfamiliar place :)

Definitely talk with the Plastic Surgeons about which surgery to do first, which surgeries to bundle, etc. They have definite opinions and/or preferences about it. And good luck!!

Whatcha doing living in Germany??

Thanks Marilyn!  My military husband has a four year NATO position and we will be here until 2012.  We have loved all the travel we get to do since countries are so close together.  Next up is Italy in October - Venice, Florence, Pisa and Rome.  Please don't hate me.....lol!
