My PS wants to do lipo in a year

I just had my TT/BA/BL and now my PS is talking about doing a bit of 'suction' in a year.  I don't need much, mainly just to remove what he couldn't remove.  I'm worried about lipo though b/c I've heard nothing but bad stories of swelling and the swelling never going away and you end up looking fat all over again.  Any one with experience?  I would be 2 yrs out from VSG and 2 yrs out from the current plastic surgery.
