Hi, I am 13 days post op, and I'm doing really well. Not even a tylenol today! My only concern is the one drain I have left. It's draining approx 60 - 65 cc per day, and it's still the color of dark red wine......is this normal? I am waiting for a call back from my surgeon....I wasn't too concerned, but the visiting nurse that came today insisted on calling the doctor. Any input will be  appreciated....thanks!

Good idea to call the surgeon - let us kow what he says.

Mine never drained clear like they said it would - it was a red color, watery, but not dark red.

And never that much...

The drains from my LBL, arms, and left leg were all pretty typical.  The drain in my right leg was like what you described.

It was always a high output (around 200) per day.  It was around 175 when my ps took it out.  I did develop a seroma in that leg, but that's not to say it was direct result of the color/volume.  I also had that drain pull out enough to lose suction about a week after having it.

Saw the doc today. The color in the drain is fine. My output is pretty high (about 65 cc per day) but they are taking the drain out this Friday...I can't wait! Other than that I really feel great!   Can't wait to have my breasts lifted as soon as possible!
