Arm Lift Question

I am exactly 1 year out today and am really considering an 'arm lift' in my future.
I have spoken to someone *****commended toning my arms with weights for at least a year before I have the procedure.
I have been working out since almost day 1, but only joined a gym last week with the intent of really hitting the weights.
What is your experience with this procedure?  And how much muscle should I be building beforehand?
Any advice or experience would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!

I was muscular before my bracchioplasty and I think it definitely helped my results.  I have some before/after pics on my profile page.  I didn't have an ounce of fat on my arms so no lipo was needed.  I love my arms even more now than when I was in my 20's and in shape (and even with the scar).
