HOW LONG WERE YOU UNDER...?

Hi Everyone..

How long were you under anesthesia for LOWER BODY LIFT..?
Also, what is/was your age at the time of your LBL..??

I will be 54 next month and I guess I'm a little concerned about the length of time I will be under...The longest surgery I have ever had was 4.5 hours.

 I am 52 and was under for about five hours. Not the longest I have been out but long enough I guess. It wasn't hard on me, I woke up and was wide awake until I got pain meds. Not sure if I needed them or not but kept taking them just in case. I can say I haven't had a lot of pain with my LBL. I am seven weeks out and doing great.

I had a spinal four vertebrae spinal fusion two years ago and I did great with that, except for those dang muscle spasms...OUCH..!!!!!!!!  THOSE BUGGARS HURT...!!! THE SURGERY, ITSELF,  WAS A BREEZE...

Hoping all will be the same with the LBL..NOT THE SPASMS...LOL

I am 48, soon to be 49. I had a lbl with butt augmentation, as well as a bl/ba. Mine went about 9.5 hours, and I did fine with it. I also had back surgery several years ago as well as a few c-sections and a couple of knee surgeries before I had my wls. My ps was by far the longest surgery I've had, but I still think my knee surgeries and my c-sections were more painful that my ps.

Wow..you had alot going on at one time...and you STILL think your C-section and knee surgery was more painfull...
(Ya-hooooooooo, Doc sign me up..or is that Scotty beam me up..?? LOL)

With the older surgeries, I didn't have that handy dandy pain pump into my abdomen like I had with the ps. It was AMAZING!

I was 54  when I had my LBL.  The surgery lasted about 4.5 hours and was an out pt.  surgery.

13 pounds of skin was removed.   Good luck. brenda

Thirteen pounds is Amazing..That gives me hope for these last 16 pounds that are sooooo stubborn to stay with me..

I can almost pull my belly tire up around my neck, sooooo... I'm hoping that sucker weighs at least 10 pounds and the saggy, baggy back side will weigh the other six pounds...

That cracks me up!!  I almost checked to see if my apron would reach up to my neck! LOL  I'm 43 and they told me it will be 6 hours.  I am also hoping to get 10 lbs off (or more!).

Oh, girl I got it goin on...!!!

When I walk.."IT" jiggles.....When I laugh.."IT"giggles...When I turn over.."IT" races me to get the other side first...AND "IT" ALWAYS WINS..!!

I have to be very careful leaning over something that is very high up..."IT" could jump out thinking "IT'S" a bungie cord...

YEAH,..."IT" has a mind of "IT'S" on....!!!

When are you going to have your surgery..??
