I had breast reduction with lift on August 23rd all was well until about last Friday when I noticed on my left side a red area by Saturday it began running a clear yellow fluid.  I thought no big deal put neosporin on it.  Well it is not any better now I have an area right beside this one that is not open, the other one is, that is red hot I can feel it through my shirt and if I just light touch it a clear yellow fluid comes out.  I myself have had no fever.  So today I call the surgeon's office and his nurse says she thinks its fine just to put vaseline on it that this is my body's way of getting rid of the fluid.  I was not under the impression that she asked the doctor.  I gave her explicit details of how it looked and felt.  It is very painful.  Has anyone else had this happen?  I hate to bother the doctor if she says its fine but I am concerned.  It also burns real bad like a stinging feeling.  Thanks for any help.

I would call and ask if they could squeeze you in to see the dr.  If they say they can't then you should leave a message for the dr to call you back. I wouldn't worry about bothering the dr, that's what they are paid for. I know anytime I had a concern about something they wanted to see me right away just to make sure everything was okay.

Heck yeah, call again.  That's why you pay them the big bucks.  If you don't get a timely appointement, send the Doc a picture in an email.
