tender incisions?

How long until the incisions from the LBL were no longer tender for you?

 I am seven weeks out and still keep tape on mine. They are not very tender but I have kept them covered the whole time. I was told I could keep the tape off but its kinda like a security blanket for me.

I can't remember how long they were tender really, maybe 6 to 8 weeks. It was the soreness of the muscle tightening that lingered for a while. It wasn't a painful sore but it lasted a lot longer than I expected especially when I exercised. Now I don't even think about it.
