Aggressive Thigh Lipo?

Has anyone has aggressive thigh lipo from groin to knees prior to having a lbl?
Or have you gone the opposite route and had thigh lipo after you had a lbl or tt?
Do you wish you'd had it done prior to your midsection?
I was told I either needed to lose more weight?
Or have aggressive lipo on my problem area thighs. My thoughts to have the lipo first that way when I have lbl, the loose skin can be pulled higher and tighter? Please chime in give me your thoughts and advice. In the mean time low carb, high protein, walking, trying to lose a little more weight.
I've chatted with a couple great ladies with outstanding advice. Thought I would put my thoughts outside maybe others in same boat I'm in?

My understanding is that an LBL will lift a little on the outside thigh area but not so much on the inner thigh. I had an extended Fleur-de-lis tummy tuck and it didn't help my inner thighs at all. I later in a second procedure had my inner thighs done and lipo was done in conjuction with the thigh lift.

With my last consult the ps was pulling and tugging and honestly Told me I need aggressive thigh lipo done or lose more weight?

The lipo I'm looking at having done will address from groin to knees all the way around my thighs.
Do you think it you would have been more pleased if you'd had lipo first?
Not sure if that makes sense or not. Lol

I know having the lbl would make most difference in my appearance. But if I have to lose more weight or have agressive lipo wouldn't that be defeating the purpose of tightening my lower half only to have to lose more?

If I had just done lipo on my thighs it would have made my loose skin even worse. I had a little fat in there but mine was mostly skin and was very, very lax. My surgeon just explained that he'd lipo as he did my lift. I didn't have a problem with my outer thigh area and the lipo and lift for me worked out great. I can only speak for my situation but the lipo alone would not have been enough and would have just given me extra loose skin on top of what i already  had.

Unfortunately we can't spot reduce fat when losing weight. You could lose more weight and still have the same problems in the thigh area. I know the last few pounds I lost seemed to show up more in my face than anywhere else.

Have you had more than one consult? Gotten any opinions from other plastic surgeons?

Yes, one ps didn't want to touch my lower half with a ten foot pole. Lol
My thighs were large even in my teens early twenties when I wore a size 3. Genetics, I was blessed or is the cursed? From both sides
of family tree. Lol
My thighs are bad now so I know they are going to look like sharpei puppies after lipo.

My DH being cute asked if after lipo the extra skin at midsection will bypass hips and pool at knees.
Gotta love this man cause otherwise he'd get hurt sometimes. Lol

We spoke of outer thigh lipo in liters of 4-5 but didn't talk about the amount for the aggreesive thigh lipo. I had phone conversation 2 days after my appt. I'm the one questioning which ps I should have done first. He is willing to go either way I decide.
I'm about 30 lbs from goal weight. I had a few rebound lbs. my upper body and face had gotten really gaunt so I don't think I want to lose much more than I have. I was starting to look very sick before I regained the few I did.
I know lipo is not an instantaneous result. That's why I'm trying to decide on which I ahold go for first ?

I had thigh lipo from groin to knee about 9 years ago way before I needed WLS.  Now that I've had the WLS and have lost all of my weight, I'm glad that it's already done because I won't need any with my LBL.

I carried a lot of weight in the saddle bag/butt area so now after losing 100 lbs they are very loose.  I weighed about 170 when I had the lipo done and over 7 years or so gained 65/70.  Now I'm down to 142 and am very saggy.  My Plastic Surgeon says I don't need lipo that the skin is empty.  And even when I was a young thin woman (130lbs) I had large saddle bags...just my genetic makeup...so no amount of weight loss or exercise would have made a difference in my case.  I just needed the lipo, period.

That is my thought process going strong. I've always had large thighs they almost measured same as my waist did back in my early twenties.
Since this was my thought process asking these questions I need to find out from ps if he will do the aggressive thigh lipo along with the thigh lift? If not, makes more sense to me to go for the lipo first?
Wouldn't I be defeating the purpose of the lbl if I lost more weight afterwards trying to lose weight just in my thighs? Wouldn't my stomach, butt, and mons sag more?
