I'm home attempting to rest...although these pain meds stink and so we have a call into the dr...it was a REALLY long night...and I have a high pain tolerance so when I'm hurting like this, I know I need something more....anyway tummy tuck and breast lift done...can't wait to unwrap and shower tomorrow and get my first peek...i'm nervous and extremely anxious...I will update a little more when I've got the pain under control and am doing a bit better...

Congrats on your work, Nina!  Who did you use?  I'm just starting to look into plastics, but am going to go with a residency training program for financial reasons.  Just curious if you happened to have used one.  Thanks!

I went with Dr. Desplinter and Dr. Schoonover...both great Dr's...I didn't use the residency program because my insurance paid for my Panniculectomy and mastopexy and then we just paid the difference between the panni and the tummy tuck....My insurance company accepted several plastic surgeons...but after interviewing and seeing surgeon's results this is who I chose...in the end I think it will have been a great choice....good luck to you!!!

Hope you get some meds that will do the trick. A word of caution when you unwrap and shower for the first time- it's good to have someone with you or to be seated when you first do it. Some people get very dizzy the first time and you don't want to fall!

Thank you so much!!!...they called me in some meds that are working great...also, thanks for the advice...I will make sure that DH is right there beside me...they let me loosen the binder a bit today and you're right...I got pretty light headed.and it felt like I was having hotflashes...and that was only loosening it...can't imagine taking it off tomorrow...
