I think I hate my boobs:(

I had my BL and BA on June 22nd..here it is Sept 1st and I still feel "off". I had saline under the muscle and am a very nice size, not too big and not too small..but I'm starting to have days where I ALMOST regret it I miss running so much as every time I remotely try it, my sense of balance is almost off and damn it, I'm still sore most days...

And on top of that, I had a deep suture open up on my left boob under the nipple around 6 weeks out and its still oozy, etc. (Yes, I go see my ps every 2 wks and its not infected or anything)

Am I normal in this? Exercise is such a big part of my life and I feel like I'm gaining weight, too...tomorrow is my 2 year surgiversary and I'm not celebrating.

Be happy.

I totally understand what your talking about!!  I cringe evertime my hubby comes home from work and tries to hug me.  My left boob is still very sensitive, the right is fine.  I'm Ok as far as the balance goes but I still bump into things with them, lol.  Hang in there a lil longer it will get better.

I'm 5 months out and I still can't exercise due to swelling! Sometimes I still do and then I pay the price later that day. My breasts are also still very tender, even though everything is healing properly.

I was surprised that this far out I would still feel this way.

Hold on you SHOULD celebrate.  You HAVE come so far in these 2 years since your surgery.  CHANGED your life and made some GREAT steps in the right direction.  I know these last 3 months may be hard but ALL the time you'll have to LIVE your life once this period is over SHOULD be celebrated!!

I'm sorry you aren't right NOW do what you enjoy but that time will come and soon.

I am a year out now this week and can say it feels way better t'han it did even at 6mos. I wear 2 sports bras when I do aerobics and did alot of spinning when I couldn't do anything else. Any activity is better than no activity. Good luck!!
