Well I had my reduction and lift yesterday morning (Monday)  came home that afternoon.  Can anyone tell me when the pain gets better.  I went down about three sizes.  I don't have any drains but they do have me bandaged up pretty tightly.  I go back to see him Thursday.  I am in a great deal of pain.  Just wondered about what others experience has been recovery wise?  Thanks

I am what I would call "sensitive"  and tender to pain and I had my reduction/lift on a Thursday and by the following Tuesday I was down to Ibuprofen and Tylenol only.  It was still round the clock, but it does get better!  For me, it was probably another 2 weeks before I could get off of the tylenol and Ibuprofen.  I will tell you, it took, for me about 6 weeks before I could sleep in my bed!  Even now, almost 4 months later-I am still "tender".  I still alternate between a bra and a sports bra.

I had a reduction on Friday 8-20 and I can honestly say I feel like POO right now.

I didnt expect it to be this painful/uncomfortable and I sure did not expect to feel this BAD. I have taken my pain meds, but they also cause me to itch, so it has not been fun at all.

So I am itchie/crankie/hurting...but I ittybittytitties now! so I guess it is worth it?? Right??

Awww, you poor baby.  I hate to itch.  Has you surgeon changed your pain meds?  Maybe ibuprofen would kind of work?  Are you taking benedryl?  I really feel for ya!  -Jenny

Thanks... No Ibuprofin(advil especially) for me, I am deadly allergic to the stuff.
If I can make it to Monday when he removes all the tape crapola, I will be golden.

Benadryl has been my BFF for years... I am one of those ppl who are allergic to weired things, so I have a huge supply of benadryl.

I have super sensitive skin and I think the combo of the ace bangae, steri strip's and the lortabs did just enough to make me miserable. I am just taking regular tylenol now and I am starting to feel better.
Thanks

I had surgery July 12, and came home on percocet. I took them for a few days, then went to tylenol & ibuprofen. I am still pretty tender, so at night my doc told me to take a benadryl & 2 tylenol PM's.......... I am knocked out so then I dont realize they hurt when I sleep! LOL
