Anybody had these procedures and which did you do first?  Which surgery was hardest as far as recovery and pain?  I am at goal and wonder how long I should wait to have surgery? Any insight is appreciated.

Why wait?  Do the one that bugs you the most.  I'm going to be doing the tummy first but that's only because I have hernias  that need to be repaired.  Otherwise I would be doing arms.    Jenny

My Dr said ALWAYSdo tummy first as they do the lift and anchor it to the pubic bone on the legs and you always want that order ,,,naturally that is what went .
A different  Dr might say something else ..

I did thighs first because I couldn't hide them as easy as my tummy. I didn't get a good result on my thighs so maybe I should have waited . I got some improvement on them with my LBL. For me they were both the same pain and recovery wise. About three weeks and I was close to normal as far as activities.

I did the LBL first then the thighs 3 months later. The thighs by far were the worst and most painful of all the surgeries for me. However after about 3 weeks I was back to normal and out living life like before surgery.

I've done it both ways. You will get some ( or a lot, if you need it) lifting of the fromt and sides of thighs with your LBL or TT.  That makes doing the inner thighs easier as a second stage as the other 2/3 of the legs are already corrected.

Thanks so much for the info everyone. I have only interviewed one surgeon at this point and he only does the TT and no thigh work. He said I should do this first because it will also help the upper thighs. I am anxious to have my second plastics opinion in Oklahoma City in a couple days to see what he says. I am 5"8 140 lbs and my first surgeon told me to try and put on 10 lbs before surgery for the best results. I am pretty much a Gym Rat and  have hard lean muscle under my skin.I feel good at this weight but will take his remark under consideration and see what other PS says.  Sure wish I did not live 10 hours away from Dr L.

Congrats on your accomplishements !  A lo tof the decision also has to do with the amount of pubic and groin laxity.

Patients who need a lot of lifting in that area during TT or LBL are not great candidates for the inner thighs because the markings before surgery get pulled out of position.  I learned this the hard way 9 years ago !

TT first in almost every case!!! No doubt about it. As noted above, doing the TT first anchors the pubic bone, begins improvement on the anterior thigh, and anchors the IMF (fold under the breast) in patients who are quite "floppy" there.

I do the TT nearly every time before any thigh work....trust me on this. It's the way to go.
