Just wondering if anyone had any trouble getting your panni covered with Tricare? TIA

I got turned down but that doesn't mean you will. Go online and check what the current requirements are. Your PCM can give you a referral. They paid for me to see two PS's but denied the surgery unless I was having abdominal surgery like hernia repair at the same time.

That's what I am afraid of! I had no problem getting the referral to see the PS, I don't have a hernia or anything so I am afraid I will get denied too, did you have anything else that would have helped you? Like rashes? anything?

i had documented rashes with RX's. I think I just didn't have enough skin. They only too five pounds with my LBL. I know some people that had 22 pounds removed in a TT. It really depends on how long it hangs I think. You have to at least give it a try, you never know. I am in the  triwest region but another region will most likely follow the same rules.

thanks so much for responding, I am waiting on the "verdict" they contacted the surgeon again today wanting to know how long I have been at my current weight and what I have used for the rashes and luckily the day I went for my consult i had a rash and they took pics of it, I have ALOT of skin and OMG sadly it hangs low and alot, prior to my WLS I carried and delivered quads so that helped with the hanging skin. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this works! Thanks again!
