Yes, swelling did increase after exercise....

There was a thread a few days ago about exercising and swelling....I was just restarting my running program so I couldn't say from experience whether swelling would increase after exercise.

Well, now I can.

I have gained 4 pounds since Monday, the day I restarted my running program. I even wake up in the morning feeling "tight".

So there you have it....off to the gym!

OMG... I restarted this week & I was thinking something was wrong... My tummy got so big & I was thinking I broke something... (LOL)

I'm living this surgery and not letting the surgery live me...

Do you mind sharing what you restarted?  Working out in general or running?  I am having anxiety about not being able to work out after my surgery and just want to know what to expect and how long it takes to get back to my normal fitness level.

Nope....it's just the nature of the beast!

And it's so uncomfortable!

Feel better, Rio.

very good to know, thank you!  So, does this mean you are going to push through and keep training anyway or are you going to back off?  Just curious.  Also do you mind me asking how many miles you did on Monday?  I'm sure it wasn't much since you just started back but was really curious so I know what to expect.
