best procedure for wrinkled bum

 I am scheduled for  LBL,BL/BA,& small inner thigh(groin incision only).  I definitely need the above addressed BUT I also have no bum and all the skin is sitting below the bum in wrinkles- so far I have not seen any before pics that look as bad as my butt and the ps says that the LBL and inner thigh will not get rid of all the wrinkles
.Wud I be better with a butt lift- but thought this was what a LBL did- or because so mch skin do I need a butt augmentation? If any of you identify with my butt description and have had work done I wud love to see before and after and what procedure you had done. I don't care about no bum but hate all the wrinkles so if an augmentation fixes it I wud do it. Also- I have heard of fat injections as the augmentation- does this last? How far out are you?

 My LBL took care of the butt. It was just as bad as the tummy. I didn't have augmentation but my doctor tried to save as much of it as he could and it looks pretty good. There wasn't much left for him to work with. I would ask him more about what he means by not getting all the wrinkles. I do have a slight wrinkle about six inches below my butt on my thighs but it improved after the LBL.  Maybe thats what he means. I would ask more questions.

 I haven't posted any because I substitute teach and kids at school have found me on here. I may get brave enough one day.

I had an LBL and it helped pull things up with the butt, however, to maintain shape, I had  gluteal augmentation (auto-aug where they redposit the tissue they'd otherwise discard).  That helped me maintain a curvy shape and helps with clothing fitting the way they should.

Hi- when you say tissueaugmentation is that where they ttake fat from lipo and inject it? if no can you explain please and has it remained and smooth- not aware of it. Do you before and after pics- thank you

No, it's not reinjected fat from lipo.

This describes what I had done:

Lower Body Lift (with Buttock Autoaugmentation)          

A body lift is a combined procedure that addresses the contour of abdomen, the lateral thighs and the buttocks. It is essentially an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), a lateral thigh lift and a buttock lift. It leaves a lengthy scar that goes completely around the waistline; however, we design the incision to be hidden beneath underwear or a bathing suit. This procedure is also commonly referred to as a lower body lift, a circumferential body lift or a belt lipectomy.

It is important to realize that all plastic surgeons do not perform this procedure in the same fashion. A circumferential excision can sometimes result in the loss of buttock projection and the appearance of a “flattened" buttock if all of this tissue is discarded. To preserve this desired buttock contour, we use the existing excess tissue that is normally discarded and shape it into a tissue flap that is rotated inferior in a way that will preserve projection or add volume to enhance your buttock contour. This is called buttock or gluteal autoaugmentation. At the time of your consultation, your surgeon will discuss whether your anatomy and goals are appropriate for this procedure.

I don't have any before pics.  Once my ps takes the final pics in November, he'll give me both the before and after pics.
