Difference between TT and LBL

What are the differences between a TT and LBL?  Why is the LBL so much more expensive?  If you have an extended TT that goes over your hips, isn't an LBL just extending that scar all the way around and lifting up the bum?

The lower body lift addresses the outer thighs some and really addresses the butt.  After a 200 pound loss my whole back side was a mess.  It looks great now.  In many cases it is well worth the money.  Ask the surgeon what the final results will be with a LBL.  Many end up with a flatter butt.  Do some research and look at lots of before and after pics.  It is more expensive because of the surgical time andthe  skill involved Loris

In an extended tummy tuck they will remove a piece of skin that's shaped like an eye ... wide in the middle and tapering to a point at the ends. So the thin, pointy ends are the part that wraps part way around your back and, because it's narrow, it doesn't do much for pulling anything up/down, it just prevent's a funny buldge (dog ear).

The LBL takes a wide rectangle of skin (more or less), all the way around, which gives them the ability to pull up/down on the sides/hips as well as butt. My PS took over 9 inches off my back, and tapered the cut to about 5 inches off my front (I had already had a botched TT so there was less skin there). The skin over my hip bones and down the outside of my thighs is so tight, but yes, my butt is very flat.
