bleeding??????????
Whi*****ision line is it? Do you have a drain?
Sometimes wounds will pop when they need to drain. If that is the case, all the pressue in the world isn't gonna stop it until the draining is done because it's not just BLOOD that's coming out, but blood mixed with the serous drainage (that the drains are supposed to take care of but sometime don't because they get clogged or kinked or whatever).
If it isn't stopping I'd be going to see the doctor.

I would say call back and tell them that it hasn't stopped, only slowed down and can you be seen today.
Is there any other kind of pressure around that area? Prior to it opening, did it feel squishy puffy?
The only time I had an incision open on its own and just pour out fluid was a seroma after a hysterectomy.
With the drain issues I had with my right leg after the thigh lift, when I did have a seroma, the ps opened the incision and as soon as he made the cut, there was a whole bloody mess that just poured out. Really kinda cool - but I'm into the weird stuff like that. But I digress.
Call back again and ask to be seen.

I should have asked what color - my right leg was always a very dark output, which coincides with that was the leg were I had far more swelling and bruising. So all the old blood had to drain out with the other stuff.
Of course there is no substitute for talking to your own doc.
I know the last time I had to do a call to check in with my ps after I started traveling. I talked to the nurse, went over some things and she said either she'd call me back or the ps would. She called me back and relayed the message. But about 20 minutes later, the ps calls me back to speak to me himself. I love the fact that although the nurse accurately delivered the message, he cared enough to check in with me himself as well. I really really like my surgeon. Actually, I like all of my health care providers I have now. I have quite the team in my corner. But I there I go off track again...
Glad you got a definitive answer.

I feel awful. My whole bottom hurts! Well all along the area that was operated. I am still oozing a ton (I ran out of medical pad things and am using sanaitary napkins!!!) and I feel unwell. Hubby is on his way home from work and is taking tomorrow off.
I just dont like this at all, I want to cry.
Oddly, my draining from my actual drain pretty much stopped right before this started.

It's possible your drains are clogged. Not much you can do about it, but that's why you're oozing. And it's better that it comes out rather than builds up into a full blown seroma.
For some of my wound care I used maxi pads because they fit along the incisions perfectly and they're extremely absorbant.
Congratulations, you're normal.
