plastic surgeons in Costa Rica
Was your surgery performed at the Rosenthstock-Lieberman Clinic? If so, then you experienced something completely different than what your brother found.
In general, I'd be hard pressed to find a surgeon who does a consistent volume of work who doesn't have at least one complaint. Some patients are more vocal about how wrong their procedures went.
You see it here from time to time. Every surgery has risks, ever patient is different, any number of catalysts can trigger a procedure not going the way it is expected to go. It is unfortunate, but it is a risk with all surgery.
It's more discussed in plastics because plastics is always seen as "just cosmetic." What people don't realize that (and this is how I view this part of my journey for myself) if something would have happened to me, I'm sure my DH would have been told "why did she go through that, she was fine the way she was." Meanwhile, I phsyically may have been fine, but the loose skin bothered me to the point I was willing to take the risk of surgery.
Perhaps my attitude is also driven by my two guiding principles:
1) it's my life, and as long as I am living according to my standards my decisions are mine.
2) when it's my time, it's my time.
