I have  a great morning.  I am looking skinny, my gurddle is comfortable.  Awwww, nice.

Then boom!  I start getting dizzy when I stand.  I am exhausted.  And I swell up like a balloon.  I cant even get the gurddle back on all the way!

What happened??????

How long did you have it off?  Its normal to swell more later in the day, especially if youve been active like walking more.  I still had some dizzyness even after 2 weeks.  Not all the time but usually when I showered or took off my garments.  Hang in there

Uhhhh, you just had major surgery and you are still healing?  And these ups and downs are part of the healing process?

Stick it out, it is almost over! (like you have a choice to do anything else)

sometimes I find myself feeling so good, that I overdo it during the day. I still sometimes get extremely exausted. My only advise is listen to your body, and if it is tired, rest, if it is dizzy, if you can, lay down....I have learned that it is trying to tell you something. It gets better the further out you get., I'm 6 weeks out, and realizing that is still very early out, and I need to still take it easy.

I hope you feel better soon and I'm sending positive energy your way.

Expect to be annoyed for about 4 weeks.  And you almost never know about the swelling just when I think it's over....it's not

Oh yeah to for me after 3 weeks with my lower body lift I was feeling GREAT ready to go back to work and everything.  My doc was like no because "things" can happen.  Sure enough that 3rd week I had a small hole turn into an open area.  Took 4 weeks to close (so 7 weeks from surgery).

I guess I need to do baby steps.  I might have over done it.  But I also started my period....a week early.  Nice.  Really perfect timing....

Yes,  you probably have over done it.  And my stupid period started a few days after surgery too...TWO weeks early!!

I went through the dizziness stuff for about a week and a half.  It wasn't any fun.  It happened a lot after showers.  But it goes away.

I has 15 lbs cut off and I came home 7 lbs lighter and it's steadily gone down since.

Missy, I remember when I had my lipo, the first time I took off my compression, I passed right out boom to the floor.  Totally freaked my husband out.  It's weird what the body does, ya know.  I'm sure you'll feel better soon.  By the way, how much tissue did he manage to remove?
