Plastic surgery in southeast Michigan

At some point I'm going to need plastic surgery, and I need some information. I'm in southeast Michigan. Does anyone have any recommendations for surgeons? In general, how much $$ am I looking at spending? Does any insurance ever pay (I have Community Blue PPO)? Any other information you can share?

Besides Dr. DiNick, I have also been recommended Dr. Stefani in Troy (renaissanceps.com) and Dr. Stein also in Troy (stevensteinmd.com).  I plan on checking out all three hopefully after the first of the year.   Good Luck!!

Dr. Vincent DiNick is a wonderful plastic and reconstructive surgeon with offices in both Novi and Ypsilanti.  He is board certified and has 11 years experience with bariatric patients.  You could not be luckier then to have BCBS of Michigan, and Dr. DiNick is a BCBS provider.  I would at least see him for a consultation. Terri - if I went to Dr. DiNick - I'd need to be self-pay.  Any idea on ballparks for plastics with him?

He is under $6,000 for a full TT and right now is offering an additional $500 discount. Many from Ontario have used Dr. DiNick.

Look into Dr. David Hing.  He has been working with WLS patients for some time and people I know who have used him rave about him.  I also think he takes BCBS.  They have offices in southeast MI.

I had my plastics done by Dr. Daniel Sherbert on 7/8/10. He was fantastic!!! I met with 3 different surgeons, and I loved him from the minute he entered the exam room.  His office is in West Bloomfield.  He operates out of the WB Beaumont and also Royal Oak Beaumont.
I, too, have Community Blue PPO and had no issues getting my tummy tuck paid for by them. I also had a BL/BA at the same time, which ended up costing me about $7000.
He has evening and Saturday hours, which make it very easy to see him for all of my pre and post care.
