**UPDATED WITH PICTURE**Revisions that can't be done in office?

I am due to get some small revisions done. Just a dog ear on my hips and a couple of double chin's on my boobs. My surgeon is fantastic but you know how it goes - when you are dealing with that much skin there will be need for revision.

While my hip will definatly be dealt with in the office - Im thinking that the boobages will be dealt with in hospital (I am assuming this, I haven't actually been told this - I have a consult scheduled for them).

Im totally cool with all of this but wondering if getting revisions in hospital means I need to save up another $5k in order to pay hospital fees? I just wanna have an idea of this before hand because frankly, I dont have that! LOL! Im still paying on what I have already gotten. I just dont want to waste their time in an appt if it's gonna be another year before I can do that - know what I mean?

Anyone got ideas?

**Added post op pics to my profile - must friend me to see. Keep in mind - Im must smaller wasted than this - I was swollen on picture day due to the deliciousness of fried pickles! LOL!

When I checked into having a revision for the extra skin on my sides that he didn't do w/ the breast lift (didn't want to make the scar that long and thought the lift would take care of a lot of it) I was told it would be $1,500. The cost for the room at the surgical center and anesthesia. The surgeon's fee was waived because it was a revision. I decided that I could live w/ that little bit of extra skin for that price since I'm still paying off everything.

I believe if they do it at a hospital or surgical center you will be responsible for the charge of the room and anesthesia, your Dr.'s office should be able to tell you exactly how much it will be before you schedule it.

That's basically how I feel about it too - it's not something so traumatic that Im horrified to be naked. I can live with it a while if need be. :) That and Im all up in Dave Ramsey Financial Peace stuff so Im not picking up anymore debt if I can help it!:)

Umm.....I dont really know how to describe it. I have my lifted perfect breasts and then underneath another ....wad of skin like my boobs have a double chin. LOL!
If it helps you any - part of my post op was hammocking them with tape to see if they might resolve themselves and I think one has resolved slightly - but not fully. The other not at all.

They aren't anything I personally find devastating -they are strange looking for sure - but not something that makes me look in the mirror and cry. LOL! Definatly dont look as bad as my super long national geographic boobies from pre-surgery!

I have the double chin thingies but only under my right boob. The left one looks fine. I asked whether or not if would resolve itself and my surgeon sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. He advised that I wait 6 months and if it does not resolve then he will do a revision in his office/surgical suite if possible. If it requires the hospital then we will wait until I am ready for panni removal or a tummy tuck in about a year then do it all at once so I don't have to pay the hospital fees twice. Especially since like you said I can live it, it's not a big deal right now.

Keep us posted and good luck.

Oh no - my nippples are placed and look GREAT!:) And one boob is smaller than the other -but that's always been that way and not a big deal at all. Even Angelina Jolie's breasts are different cup sizes (mine aren't that dramatic - others wouldn't notice the size difference just me).
So Im not concerned about that at all. Its a fatty bit of skin that's hiding under the breast - not where my breasts are placed.

Im not sure if you are posting to my post - or didn't read my post fully. But I have nothing wrong with my breasts  themselves. He did a FANTASTIC job with them and I was fully shown what different outcomes could happen INCLUDING the one that did. I was not shocked and appallled to see my breasts.
My scar is no where near below my bra line either. All of my scars are easily covered by low rise panties and regular underwire.

I will see if I can't take a pic and show - because Im worried people are getting a bad opinion of my surgeon and truly he is fantastic and I have the utmost respect and faith in his craft! :)
