feeling very self conscious

Hello everyone. I had a full tt 6 weeks ago. I went to several plastic surgeons for consults but non of them made me feel comfortable, so I ended up going back to the original surgeon who did my RNY. I know this surgeon very well and I know he does a LOT of plastics for patients after massive weight loss. He told me exactly what he would need to do for the results that I wanted and why he did things they way he did....anyway, he made me feel just as comfortable and safe with him as he did with my RNY

Now here I am 6 weeks later and I thought I was looking pretty good, but I really have nothing to compare it to. I can look at lots of PS websites and see thier best of the best work, but I can't find anything with people who have had general surgeons or thier bariatric surgeon who did thier plastics. So I posted a few pics of me at 5 weeks asking for opinions. Well I had over 30 views and not 1 person said anything ...so now I am feeling like maybe I totally messed up. Maybe I just think it looks good and maybe I look butchered or something. I know I shouldn't let it bother me, but I was hoping for some feedback and to get absolutely nothing reminds me of the saying "if you don't have anything good to say, then don't say anything at all"

I removed the pics from my page, but I think I will put them back up with a password, so if anyone is willing to give me an honest opinion, be it good or bad, message me and I will send you the password.

Thank you for allowing me to see your photos.  I know everyone is telling you it looks great and all so I am going to give you my honest opinion like you asked!!

 

You look vantastic!!!!! The surgeon did a great job.  Your scar is not that bad and  you are only 5 weeks out so it will get better and lighter.  You have nothing to worry about.  Hope mine comes out as well.  Thanks for sharing.

I did a quick look and from what I can tell, you look fine.  You have a nice little waist.

Keep in mind, most people who look at pics don't always make comments. Generally I don't, not sure why but when I start seeing a lot of "you look awesomes" the phrase becomes trite because it's overused.  I read a lot into words because, well because I'm a writer of sorts.

That being said, I've had my own weight loss site active for about 3 years with a ton of pictures and a guest book.  I probably have less than 50 comments in my guest book, no comments on my pictures and I monitor the stats on the site.  Plus I also have pictures on facebook and I don't get comments on everything I post.

If you would ask people specifically to comment, they would. 

I just looked at your pictures and you look just as you should at five weeks out.  I think you have nothing to worry about.  Your doctor seemed to have done a fine job.

Your results look terrific! Your tummy looks far better than mine and I'm 7 months out and also 58 years young. He did a beautiful cut. Some of the surgeons near me are doing cuts that are jagged and look like a scary pumpkin. After about 4-5 months the scars will really lighten.

I took a peke and I think you look terrific.  Plus with only being five weeks PO you probably have not even seen the final results.  Your incision looks beautiful and it is low enough that you will be able to hide it easily.  You have good definition on your upper abdomen and a nice waist.
